“My starting point is the material. From there, the search for shape begins. Materials such as cardboard, paper, and recycled plastic inspire me to develop a shape. This will then be processed with gesso, gouache, glue, and fabric, among other things. Nothing is predetermined. I try to create a piece of beauty with minimal resources.”
