Who we are

Our site-address is:

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When visitors fill in a form on the site, we collect the data shown in the form as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string, created based on your email address (this is also called a hash) can be sent to the Gravatar service if you use it. Their privacy policy page can be found here:

When you leave a comment on our site, you can indicate whether we can store your name, your email address and site in a cookie. We do this for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in these details again for a new response. These cookies are valid for one year.

If you login to your account, we store a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal information and is deleted as soon as you close your browser.

Once you log in, we will store some cookies related to your login information and screen display options. Login cookies are valid for 2 days and screen display cookies for 1 year. If you select “Remember me”, your login will be saved for 2 weeks. Once you log out of your account, login cookies will be deleted.

Embedded content from other sites

At this time we don’t have published any messages from other sites on this site yet.

But otherwise messages on this site can show embedded content. For example videos, images, messages from Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn. Embedded content from other sites behaves exactly the same as if the visitor has visited this other website.

These sites may collect information about you, use cookies, track third-party embedded content and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including interaction with embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that site.

With whom we share your data

When you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we keep your data

When you leave a reaction, that reaction and the metadata of that reaction will be saved forever. This way we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up responses instead of having to moderate them.

For users registered on our site, we also keep personal information in their user profiles. You have previously entered this information yourself. All users can view, change or delete their personal information at any time (the username cannot be changed). Site administrators may also view and change this information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an export file of your personal data that we have from you, including all the data you have given us. You can also request that we delete any personal data we have about you. This does not contain any data that we are required to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Responses from visitors can be guided through an automated spam detection service.

Your contact information

We use your contact information to process your orders. If you have completed a contact form or a revocation form, we will retain your contact information to answer your question and provide you with the best possible service.

We never share your contact information with anyone.
