“The first series of eight small works – specially made for Museo_Kunstlokaal№8 – is called ‘floating fakes’. The three subsequent works on paper and cardboard continue the series.
I work with mixed techniques and various materials in the context of my long-term research on the appearance of the species coral.

A ’spatial’ floating and meandering of the forms over and other elements of the work suggests free exploration and connection within a species at the same time; a reference to the early stages of the coral’s existence in her liquid habitat.
All works are unique and can be viewed and purchased separately from one another. The series will ‘continue to grow’ over time.
