About Ada van Wonderen
Ada van Wonderen is a sculptor from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The sculptor, who usually carves in stone, made this houtdruk (woodcut) and printed it on natural Asian paper.
She carves robust forms out of stone that evoke associations with living creatures; they are tactile and seem to have a will of their own. Form, space, and mass are important in her work. The sculptures are finished when they have something ‘unique’, a touch of ‘soul’ about them.
Both in stone and in print, the work is simple to look at, but anything but flat.
This graphic work has been printed in an edition of 10 copies. Museo offers you the choice between numbers 3/10, 5/10, and 6/10.

The print is delivered without a frame. If you would prefer to receive the print framed, please contact us to discuss the options.
