Katharina Fischborn Interaktive I

Katharina Fischborn draws with pencil on paper and creates woodblock prints on thin semi-transparent paper, but transforms these initially monochromatic surfaces into scalpel drawings by making cut-outs in the paper. She overlays these unique woodblock prints on top of each other and over pencil drawings to create new shapes, structures and mixed colors.
