Kubusobject
Anne Rose Regenboog Kubusobject 25#2 is one of the new cubes in rusted iron from the series ‘Kubusobjecten’, an ongoing project. They form a collection of variations on an open cube measuring 20 x 20 x 20 cm . The ribs of the object, made of thin metal, describe the archetypal cube. This one is always the same. Within the cubes, Anne Rose plays with the empty spaces. One or more lines draw a basic geometric shape, such as a rectangle, square, triangle or circle, inside the cube, all in thin metal lines.
The appearance of the cube depends on how it is hung, the viewing angle, and the lighting. The series of photos below the main image shows different sides and angles of the same object.
